Ideal for both novice and experienced carvers, the BeaverCraft Extended Spoon Carving Set allows you to carve more than just spoons. Create functional wooden items such as spoons, bowls and kuksas, as well as artistic carvings, animal figures, toys and decor items.

The set contains three specialised carving tools: a hook (spoon carving) knife, a versatile whittling knife and a detailed cutting knife.

BeaverCraft wood carving tools are made from durable high-carbon steel and are well-sharpened, which allows you to cut soft and hardwood. Handles are made from Ash wood and covered with linseed oil. The Leather strop with green polishing compound is included to keep blades razor-sharp, making the carving process safe, enjoyable and rewarding.

Pure therapy - and kindling!

Spent an entire day whittling away at a namibian hardwood firewood log.. Probably not the ideal wood for this, but it was really fun.

The set was sharp, but felt like it could have been a bit sharper still. The instructions are on a video link QR code in the leaflet that comes with it, which is a bit problematic if you don't think of looking that up _before_ you go camping in a place with no signal.

There's no written instructions that tell you the correct way of holding or touching up the blades with the provided polish and leather strop.

This creates a ton of kindling! You also end up with a really nice artifact at the end of the day that can act as a bit of a souvenir for your holiday.
