My wife and I bought two of these for our recent overlanding trip to Namibia and Botswana. Staying hydrated in the hot African sun is extremely important, and having the ability to make ice-cold water has been a game changer. We made our own ice in our camping freezer, and the wide mouth of this Hydroflask allows you to easily add the ice. This became our daily routine: add ice, fill with water, and we’re set with 1 liter of ice water that would still be cold at the end of the day. We also really like the loop handle, which makes it easy to carry - something we did on two short hikes.
